I have a leaky pipe behind my bath faucet. It drips on my head in the basement while I am doing laundry and I usually jump because who ever expects rain in a basement?? It is sort of funny though that even though I have had it a few months, I still do jump. Well, it is being fixed this week. I am lucky and do not need to replace my entire faucet, just a piece of pipe.

Online Lab Tests for just about anything and they come with the physician referral. I always think it is stupid that you have to take that piece of paper in the lab to get them to stick a needle in your arm. Yeah like people would go endure that without a doctor wanting it and even if they did who would care??
I think it is a great idea for lab results to be e-mailed to the patient and not the doctor. I know someone thinks that people need this news broke in on them gently or whatever, that is all crap really.
I want to learn I have a life threatening disease in the privacy of my home where I can think about it before I have to go out into public and drive my car again. Doctors aren’t all that gentle anymore either. I think people in the past really got to know their doctors. I go to the doctor though and I just feel like I am part of the herd being run through and being branded as fast as they can get the hot iron to me. The idea of getting private accurate lab results sent directly to me is very appealing.

As a bonus for people without insurance, there lab work is much cheaper than a traditional lab + doctors visit for the form. So, now you want to know how this works?? You go to one of there participating labs and have the actual collection. They will send it off for you like they would normally and you wait by your computer for the results. How cool is that??

Beach cruisers are cool. These
cruiser bicycles are a great way to spend an afternoon and get some exercise while in the fresh air.
I wanted to rewind though and I don’t know if I am officially allowed too, so we will see. The site xyzbikes.com was my very first paid review posting on this site. My opinions on these bikes haven’t changed. They are very cool. I would also still like a yellow jacket colored one, so I could buzz around town.
Currently my bike is in disrepair, Adam stole the pedal off mine because he broke the one on his. He used his more than I did. I am a bit on the less motivated side and only like short rides on the bike. I think one of these cool cruiser’s could motivate me at least for a few days.
I have been over there checking out the variations. I am looking in the sale section (The sale is over in 3 days, so act quickly.) Anyways, this pink floral pattern with a light yellow background frame color seems to have caught my eyes today.

Yesterday, I went ahead and changed some of my sponsor links on this site. I also put a featured sponsor up here on the right. I think I will change that spot out randomly.
I put it as a Tutor company for now. I think this company fits good with my school bus theme though and hopefully someone will find a need for that service.

I was always under a wrong impression of foreclosures.
Foreclosure, I thought was good for the real estate market but I have recently learned foreclosure is terrible for the housing market. The rise in foreclosures will make banks tighten the purse strings and it harder for people to qualify for new home loans, so less qualified people will be available to buy homes. I don’t know why I was under the impression of the opposite.
Anyways, I learned from an agent. You might not have an agent you can truly trust to talk to at any time like I do…so the good people in at GotTroubles are always available when you need them, to provide valuable information about foreclosure and many other topics too. Now looking back, I am pretty glad it did. I would have been even more in the country than I am here and I wouldn’t have had as nice a view. I love it here. I think it would be so so very stressful to be in the middle of foreclosure and without being able to afford the house you had, how would you afford the new place to live…oh, it would suck. I think we are lucky to live in the Internet age, where you can search sites like GotTroubles out and find information about important topics like Foreclosures.

I keep seeing this Thoof page around. I hate the name and because of that have never given it a chance. Yeah, you can’t judge a webpage by it’s name. Lesson learned.
So…I again saw the page offer for advertising and thought I should check this out. Away, I go… I learn that Thoof is a really cool personalized news page. It is sort of a mix between some social pages and StumbleUpOn. It doesn’t require you to thumbs up, but automatically assumes a thumbs up if you don’t say that the particular page was uninteresting.
They get there news from all over the internet various feeds. You can even submit your feed for inclusion. I haven’t…
There is another cool thing too. You can edit the little segment that they show you advertising a story and vote on if you like other people changes.
I think I am going to become a Thoofer too, starting today.

If I were to buy any piece of furniture in the whole wide world right now. No, I am not in the furniture market to broke. I would buy this piece though.
- It is a bed that is like a top bunk bed.
- It is not one, but two dressers.
- I is a desk in the middle that is large enough for a computer set up.
- It is a closet, but actually two. Each end has one.
- That isn’t the coolest part though, see that long looking drawer on the bottom there?? In that is a mattress, so yep. If you have a guest…like more say if Kyra had a friend over. You could just pull out the drawer and there is another bed for the guest.
This bed has it all. I would love to have one of these.
I found this bed at the Gallery Furniture online showroom. They have show rooms in my favorite large city. Yes, down there with my favorite football team. Houston is home to the Texans. I am an original Oilers fan and when the new team came in. I switched back. Anyways, Gallery Furniture has been providing Houston furniture from there huge 100,000 square foot show room.
They also have this great bird that it would be worth the visit just to see. His name is Mack. He is a rare Hyacinth Macaw. Isn’t he cool?? I need to make another trip to Houston. Sometimes I sure do miss that big truck that I drove as I haven’t been to Houston since year 2000.

Ok, we should all do this Memory Walk . Alzheimer’s disease is in my family and most all that I know of.
My great aunt Claris had it bad by the time she passed. She had no idea who I was.
Adam’s grandmother had it as well, she died in an almost vegetative state due to advanced stages of this terrible disease.
My friend Tom’s mom has it now and is suffering terrible from it though she doesn’t know she is. She doesn’t remember things she did only a few minutes earlier.
To me, it is so scary that you can grow and your mind can do this to you. They are working towards medical advances though that can reduce and help repair the damages done to the brain from this disease.
They are having these memory walks in hundreds of cities all across the US and I think it is definitely a worth cause. This is the single largest event that raises money for care, support, and research for sufferers of Alzheimer’s. The one closest to me is the one on October 13th in Harrisburg, PA on City Island. I am thinking about walking in this myself. It would be good for me and Kyra to do.
The Team Captain’s usually sign up early to have time to be able to recruit more walkers for there team. Your team can consist of your co-workers, friends, maybe members of your church anyone really. I know you can do it! Make a team and have fun while making a difference.
