I’m Red…

I found this test over at Desert Diva and since it turns out to make me seem sort of cool red.  LOL… I thought I would share it.  This is pretty accurate to how I feel in my life right now, it is pretty cool to see it in words.

8 Things Meme…

I was tagged by GrottyNosh for this 8 things about me meme.

To participate in the meme I need to share 8 facts about myself.
The rules of the meme are very simple:

So here are my 8 things:

  1. I have a hard time making friends with females.  I have no idea why, but I think I scare women away from me.  This makes almost all my friends male.  I have only 4 female phone numbers out of the 30 or so numbers in my cell phone.  I would be a good friend to have though as I am very loyal and would never do things to hurt my friends.
  2. I am upgrading my camera to a digital SLR that I don’t really need if I get this job.  My camera that I have will sell very fast, some of my friends are salivating over it.
  3. I used to be shy and think absolutely nobody liked me.  I have made almost a 180 degree turn and am basically outgoing and have many friends whom actually like me or rather I believe like me.  LOL…  I don’t ever have to be alone.  This is an amazing feeling.
  4. I like commercials, sometimes better than the actual TV program.  Oprah for example has some great commercials sometimes and I only watch them and skip the show. 
  5. I think all bloggers are busy almost all the time.  Blogging and researching for new information takes up huge chunks of time.  It is so fun though.
  6. I love rain.  I love it.  It rained today and it was so fun jumping in the rain puddles with Kyra.  I hope she never outgrows that stage.  Oh…the fun.
  7. I dislike meme’s that make you think.  This is the most I have thought about a meme in a whole long time.  My site is mostly written off the top of my head without thought, so a release basically.  I am really struggling with this….aaaahhhhh!
  8. As much as I dislike meme’s like this one.  I still love being tagged for them.  It makes you know that someone actually reads here.  Yeah, my stats are doing this too, but these publish it out loud…hey I read over there.  I love that.

I not going to tag anyone because I already did this meme not once prior, but twice and that is enough for tagging.

I knew this…

I found this Blogthings test on Opinions Minions, and I need some strange ladies butt photo on my site, so what the heck.  Here you all probably figured this out by now though…this is pretty true.

Trick or Treat…

halloweentreat-thumb Aawww Wander, you are so nice to me.  I love Carmel apples.

I am going to give this over to Foreign Beauty.  I just like reading her antics.  She deserves a delicious apple.

Just Simply Holly deserves the apple too.  She has been visiting here a lot lately and I love it.  She is pretty nice too…that helps.

Erika Jean gets an apple.  She is the first participant in my M&M contest.  I love the photo of her when she was a girl.  It is a great entry.  Thanks…enjoy the apples, don’t they look delicious.

Joy Unexpected gets an apple.  I think she needs one for being able to look around and see all those fires and still stay calm with her camera in tow.

Lastly, My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings gets the apple.  She is just pretty fun, simple as that.

Enjoy the apples ladies, yes…they are all ladies this time.  That doesn’t happen with me that often.  Have a great Halloween.

Holy Crow Wander, this is quite the Meme…

Wander hit me up for this extra long meme a few days ago.  I have been going to do it, but putting it off until now when Amanda says she never gets tagged….come on people, she needs some work to do.

What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now? I am to lazy to walk up there, but I do know it smells like Mangos.  It is whatever was on sale at the Amish store.

Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? No.

What would you change about your living room?  Probably make it slightly bigger, but generally I like it.

Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Empty, dirty are in sink. 

What is in your fridge?  Food…

White or wheat bread?  Either

What is on top of your refrigerator? Vitamins, my purse and keys 

What color or design is on your shower curtain? It looks like the sky on a beautiful day.

How many plants are in your home? None…not a chance.  I probably have the least of anyone on my block in my flower beds around my house as well.  I am not a gardener.

Is your bed made right now?  Never…I love getting into it the same position as I left it.

Comet or Soft Scrub?  Spic and Span???

Is your closet organized?  Yes

Can you describe your flashlight?  No, but it takes 2 AA batteries. 

Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home?  I have a set of blue glass glasses that I love, but there are only 6.  When they all get dirty it is onto plastic.

Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?  No, but I will have shortly.  The pitcher is all ready to be filled.

If you have a garage, is it cluttered?  Cluttered, but not as bad as it used to be.

Curtains or blinds?  Both

How many pillows do you sleep with? 8 or 9

Do you sleep with any lights on at night? No, and in the basement with no windows.

How often do you vacuum? Once a week, but a lady comes and vacuums the common areas 2 days a week.

Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard

What color is your toothbrush?  Orange

Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch?  Yes, actually 2 of them.  There is one on top of another.

What is in your oven right now?  Nothing, I cleaned it today.

Is there anything under your bed? Two boards that make the bottom not slam down when you jump on it.

Chore you hate doing the most?  Cleaning…

What retro items are in your home? Does Stan count??

Do you have a separate room that you use as an office?  My basement is 25×18, so it isn’t a separate room, but it’s own section. 

How many mirrors are in your home? 2

Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home?  Nope, none in the bank either.  I am broke. 

What color are your walls? Here?? Brown Paneling, that could be retro too couldn’t it? 

Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?  Oh my…I am not answering this question.

What does your home smell like right now?  Smoke, I am sitting next to a chimney.

Favorite candle scent? Any Fruit, but maybe Kiwi-Watermelon best.

What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now? Dill only

What color is your favorite Bible? I don’t have a favorite Bible.

Ever been on your roof? Yeah, there is a nice view from up there.

Do you own a stereo? Yeah, 2 of them.

How many TVs do you have? 2

How many house phones? 4

Do you have a housekeeper? I wish I did, any volunteers?? 

What style do you decorate in? Minimal Broke

Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints?  Solid

Is there a smoke detector in your home? Yes 

In case of fire, what are the items in your house which you?d grab if you only could make one quick trip? My back up hard drive.

Showing Off My Desktop

Diamondssaphire has hunted me down to show my desktop off.  Well, screenshots seem to only get one of my monitors.  I went ahead and since it was dark just took a photo for you with Nonsense, Fun, Tears, Happiness, and Anger All Rolled Into One proudly displaying on one of them.  I love your desktop by the way, the moving the icons so they line up down the nose is a good move.  LOL…  You have some software that I am envious of…I have some that you have as well, but not on my desktop.  I have a folder on my desktop with a ton of software titles I rarely use.

20070930_00209p Here it is…very boring.  Yeah, I am using the Windows default background, why because I can’t find a picture that I like the looks of it with all those icons covering up it.  I went through a phase where I changed my whole theme weekly for awhile and also a phase, where I used just solid blue background for awhile.

My icons are mostly images that I use for my site, like all my weekly meme images.  I use my desktop for all my new downloads and all my newly edited photos as well.  This picture of my desktop is now on my desktop.  I don’t do that much on the main desktop side though, I am more with the widescreen.  It has about 300 times better color.  I am almost ready to replace the right monitor…money money money.  LOL…

Oh goodness, so whom do I want to see the desktop of???

How Totally Fabulous…
