The Little Punk…
Today was a good day. It was still strange to be home alone. The lady that takes care of Stan came and visited with me basically. I didn’t want her pay to get cut, so I just had Stan sign for her when he got back. It was nice though, she is a nice lady.
The boy that stole from me before on my bus stole again from me, only I wouldn’t have caught him this time. I have this bag of “treats” on my bus, it consists of like pencil erasers, pencils, toy cars, stuff like that… if I see a student do something nice to another student. I will let them select something out of this bag to keep. I don’t really keep an inventory on it, but if it is running low or I see an exceptional deal in something. I go ahead and buy things. Well, the principal brought out a whole pile of things from this bag gathered from this one particular student, asked if they were mine which they were.
I appreciate him catching on that the stuff was mine, but now this is the second time. It continues to tick me off that he is allowing him to steal from me and not kicking him off my bus for any amount of time. I want this kid off now at least for a few days, so his parents can talk to him about not stealing on his/their ride to school without me or my things. It is like the principal discounts my things which really sort of upsets me.
I am so not sending Kyra to this school when she gets to that age if that is still the principal. It is like he has these huge morals, but he ignores them in the discipline stage. He is all talk and no follow through and the kids all know it.
Anyways, that was today. The kids were generally good though. I really do drive around some great students who have some amazing futures in front of them.
I got home from my afternoon routes and Stan had been returned and his family was gone. He said they left about 3, so they are probably just getting home now as I type this.
My evening after this was pretty boring. Stephen came to visit, which is now always nice. Kyra wasn’t going to bed though, so we just watched Sesame Street. That is pretty much all that Kyra watches, so it is almost default if she is watching. She will watch CSI though if we insist. I don’t usually if it is bed time though as she is grumpy enough.
Kyra is still up, so that long nap today must have worked to keep her up so long tonight.
Here is one of the photos of me that we took yesterday. I think this one turned out great, but you can’t tell that I am up on this huge platform thing, pretty high.
Here is my favorite one of Ricky. He was the goal of the photography mission, this is one of the last ones that I took and it is in his own yard. I edited it a little, but I really like the way he looks in this one. There are others that look nice too though.
Here is Lyn. This is a better shot for her to put on her Pampered Chef page. There are others we took of her that look nice too.
I can’t believe that it is almost 11 already though. Today was so boring, but it seemed to have gone so fast. That is a very unusual combination for a day. Fast and boring…doesn’t happen often in my world.
I talked to Robert tonight to about his nickel chunk that I am going to list for sale on ebay this weekend. Yeah, I have decided to do it this weekend. I really should get more of a write up for it done tomorrow though. I should have some time tomorrow during the day and Thursday during the day. I have some jobs to do in the evenings for the rest of the week, so busy busy.
Have a wonderful night…

Today was a great day. Way better than yesterday…. I hope that this new day schedule doesn’t make all my Saturday’s crazy like yesterday. Here is a good photo of us, I set the auto-timer on the couch with us sitting on the floor. I was noticing that I haven’t posted a photo in a few days…why I have no idea as I have taken them.
Here is another Haley photo. This is her with my brother (her dad). He sent me photos last night of them and I loved this one. They do fun stuff with Haley’s hair too. Kyra would have that ponytail thing out in 2.1 seconds. Aren’t they cute though…. These photos make me smile. I know that.
Here is a photo of Kyra sitting on Stan. I haven’t put him on here in awhile either, so I am out doing myself today. They were reading books together today which was pretty cute.
Here is Kyra with her baby. She was kissing the baby, but I am to slow with the shutter to get the action when it happens. Oh, how she loves her babies though. She has so many of them. Deuce seems to only want to eat the actual Barbie ones though, so the others are pretty safe.
Here is one last one of Kyra from today. I took more after I loaded these ones up, so maybe tomorrow you will see more.
Last photo… we can’t leave out Deuce. He was good all day.
Here you go, this is either Haley my niece or Kyra. Can you tell which is which, I’m not telling?
It is pretty amazing how similar they look. I can’t wait now to see Haley in a few weeks. LOL… I’ll get to photo them together…how fun.
I am not going to have a nice long post detailing my playing with Kyra today, but I had some fun. We played ball with the dog to of course. Here are some photos though, which some didn’t turn out so good. It is hard to photo a running two year old though sometimes.
I was chasing her for this photo, she spilled the entire glass right there onto the dog. Now Deuce needs a bath tomorrow.
We also put shoes on the dog which was pretty fun.
I came home and was ready to go 4-wheeling with my new sort of boyfriend. Yes, I am moving on from Adam. We are not getting back together like I have said before and some people keep asking. Neither of us wants to, we are both liking our lives better separate as crazy as that sounds. Anyways, I have been seeing this guy for a little over a week, so here is the coming out. You can even see his photo…nobody escapes my lens, you know.
We were 4 wheeling though and it was very fun. I drove about 1/3 of the way back. We stopped and I took photos of the fall leaves about 10 times. It was a beautiful night. I didn’t even need my sweatshirt it is so nice. I love the fall. It is easily my favorite time of year.
We loaded the 4 wheeler in the truck and came back, of course. I basically got home and got Stan jumped in the car and went to get Kyra. I was a few minutes late picking her up, but it was okay. I think she had fun with her dad today.
She fell asleep on the way home and is still out. I am about to take the dog out and go to bed myself. It was a really fun day though. I hope every Monday will become this fun. Good Night…
I don’t think this Barbie had a prayer, do you??? I guess I have to go buy some chew toys.
When did she learn to do this?? I don’t do this. Honest, I don’t. I think Stan has been teaching her because I know I haven’t.
We took Stan to a private diabetic counseling session today and to give blood for some lab work. They have the fountain in the building. Is it normal for kids to do laps of the fountain. She wasn’t that bad though, she didn’t splash or jump in. Both of which are things I could see her doing, especially seeing how today has been going.
Now, just exactly how do you drink your milk out of the cup holder directly?? She must have worked the whole way home on getting her milk out of the sippy cup with the stop spill thing in and transferred into the cup holder one little splash at a time.
We also went to the rock club meeting tonight. I learned just how easy Kyra was, she lets you hold her with just a few pretzels. The funny thing is when the pretzels run out, she comes right back to mom. This girl is new to the club though and I can tell Kyra has a new instant friend as well. Kyra was very good even though very tired, she was only slightly disruptive asking Tom to pay attention to her a few times. She went almost immediately to sleep when we got home. I will as well, as soon as I hit that bed over there.
We came home and Heather came and visited with us. She played with Kyra for awhile and took this photo of me. I don’t get pictures of myself often, so I go ahead and post them when I do.
Kyra was pretending to be a cat and got inside the little cat travel carrier. I ran for my camera as soon as she was in, but when I finally go it available to take a picture she was crying and wanting out.
The dog and her are getting along great, like I said in an earlier post. Here are pictures though. There was a dog barking on TV and they both turned quick to look at it.
Here she was hiding the dogs ball in her purse. He didn’t take his eyes off the purse for quite awhile.
We than went outside and harvested our pumpkins. I planted about 15 seeds, but only got 2 pumpkins out of it all. They weren’t jack o’lantern size either like the package described, but they are good enough. We will carve them closer to Halloween time.
Here is another one that I thought was cute.
An old friend, Roy, came to visit us today. He spent about 2 hours here so I got good an caught up on the comings and goings of his 5 teenaged children. It is interesting. He has good kids though.
Kyra was returned home immediately when I got home from my routes which was unexpected, but very welcomed. I miss her so when she is gone. It is insisted that I carry my very own stuffed animal while we walk around, so I had Zoe. I put her in my pants loop for hands free carrying. Well, Kyra just had to have hands free as well, so down her pants Big Bird goes. LOL…
Stephanie and her were throwing frisbee while I pulled weeds from the garden. Stephanie hurt her arm and has a bandage on it. Kyra had to have a bandage exactly the same.
They got the frisbee stuck in the apple tree a few times and I like this picture.
We came in the house and Kyra just got more energy. She was jumping and jumping, and we read books, we watched Barney, we ran around the circle, but the most fun was playing hide and seek. Do you see Kyra in this photo?? I can’t…because when you are 2. You can hide behind anything and think you are completely hidden. I love this age with her. I am wondering when the terrible starts?? This is just plain old fun.
I right now am getting jealous of the pig though. She seems so comfortable as of here lately and as a bonus. She seems to be gaining weight on this high protein pig food that I got for her.
See Zoe go down the slide??
See Zoe swing??
Yeah, I go down the slide too and swing as well.
I wore myself out and decided to swing with Zoe in the relaxing baby swing.
I eat my beans. I had a pork chop too. It was good and I ate it all. Mom says I eat more than she does, but I don’t believe her.
We go to the house and I read some of my books. Today was so busy, I just climb up onto mom’s lap and go to sleep. She is so warm you know.
We were playing around with the auto timer on the camera today and got a couple pretty funny shots. Here we both sort of have our tongues out. Oh yeah and our hats, aren’t they cute. It was 70 out, so sort of chilly…why not wear caps?? LOL..
Here we are kissing. This is more of a posed shot though, because we were smashed together like this the full 5 seconds. LOL…
Finally the acrobat version of Kyra, she is holding herself up by holding her feet and I am holding all of her up by her calves and slightly swinging her. She is loving it and everytime she is put down she is saying READY READY for more. We are so boring, but this is totally fun.
Last photo doesn’t really fit in here, but what the heck who doesn’t like a could be last pig photo?? This is my pig (Barbeque) she is 12 years old and isn’t looking so good health wise, so yes those are ribs. They are not because she isn’t fed though. They are because she is in her last days and she doesn’t eat. She has weighed probably twice this much the majority of her life. She hasn’t eaten what I fed her for 2 days now.
