I should be in bed!
We were playing around with the auto timer on the camera today and got a couple pretty funny shots. Here we both sort of have our tongues out. Oh yeah and our hats, aren’t they cute. It was 70 out, so sort of chilly…why not wear caps?? LOL..
Here we are kissing. This is more of a posed shot though, because we were smashed together like this the full 5 seconds. LOL…
Finally the acrobat version of Kyra, she is holding herself up by holding her feet and I am holding all of her up by her calves and slightly swinging her. She is loving it and everytime she is put down she is saying READY READY for more. We are so boring, but this is totally fun.
Last photo doesn’t really fit in here, but what the heck who doesn’t like a could be last pig photo?? This is my pig (Barbeque) she is 12 years old and isn’t looking so good health wise, so yes those are ribs. They are not because she isn’t fed though. They are because she is in her last days and she doesn’t eat. She has weighed probably twice this much the majority of her life. She hasn’t eaten what I fed her for 2 days now.
Anyways…that was my day. It was a fun day. I am honestly going to bed now. It is way way past my bed time.

Well, anyways… we went bowling today. It was super fun. We were the only ones in the bowling alley. None of us broke 100 for our score, we are a pitiful group of bowlers. Kyra honestly couldn’t even get the ball to the pins until the very end. I waited until we got all 3 of the balls stuck before I went and retrieved them.
Stan bowled the best. I think his score was like 64 or something like that. He did have one strike though and Kyra’s gutter balls probably outed him at least one frame.
We look professional though here don’t we?? She smiles hugely and clapped each time she let a ball go.
Sometimes she didn’t even try to keep them out of the gutter. That one got a good clap too.
She liked the score keeping computer thing as well.
The skies were so pretty today. It made me what to be outside all day. We got quite a bit done today actually though.
Played and played…in my house playing is getting something done, so don’t be confused. LOL… Playing with Kyra is the most important thing that I do in any given day.
We went to the park. Kyra couldn’t leave without swinging. The swing bunches up her shirt. She always swings leaning way forward, like she is flying super man style. I have a feeling she will be in the baby swing for a very long time with this style.
We of course fed and watered the goats.
I took my camera out to get a new shot of Carmel because it has been awhile since I showed how big she has gotten. My photos out there didn’t turn out so great…she is eating the whole time. I have to be more patient to get good pictures of her. The only photo I got was Misty with her tongue out.
There was this toad on our back patio. Isn’t he cute… I love my backyard. 
Kyra decided she needed to rearrange all the shoes when we got in. It made me notice that Adam has a lot of shoes by the door, that I never paid much attention too. It is going to seem empty there when he takes them all away tomorrow.
We went to the courthouse and got an old mortgage taken off the deed which was sort of old business that I had just never done. The flowers at the center of town were beautiful today. We went to lunch with Stan at the Chinese Restaurant.
Yeah, than when we got home we went ahead and made it even weirder. We went to the Community Fair.
Adam and Kyra were riding on the dizzy cars. Both look like this is fun though don’t they?? I was getting a little loopy just watching them though.
Yeah, it is pretty depressing around here. All the “I’m Sorry” and what not. This is nothing to be sad about. You have to know me…I get along great with Adam. We aren’t fighting. This is a move to the better. We will be better parents. We both love Kyra unconditionally. She will know that more with us apart.
Here is Kyra on the swing. (These are photos from Sunday.) Yesterday, I cut her hair. This is the before picture, you can see how it is always in her eyes. It is out of her eyes now. 
This is what she did when I told her to show me her new haircut, so you aren’t getting a better view yet. LOL… She is already a smartalic. I didn’t think that started til she was older. It looks so nice though, her little face with it totally outlined. I cut off a couple of larger pieces from the side underneath too, I put the hair in her baby book. 
Here is a robin with a worm. Isn’t it cute? I love robins. Me and Kyra were chasing this one and it almost wouldn’t fly away from us.

Today was our diabetic training class. Tom watched Kyra. Stan did good today. I am really proud that he stepped it up from the complaints I heard a week ago. He went to the class and actually said he liked this instructor. We had a different one last week. They taught us about glucose tablets today. I think Stan is a case above this class though, a 1/2 cup of orange juice is a joke to raise his sugar. I give him a jug practically and it only goes up a few. They called 70 low which is a new number to us. I was calling 60 low. Stan’s sugar has been down as low as 28 though since he has been here. It has also been higher than the 200 which they called high. Stan’s has been like 500. He goes up and down, but it is getting way stabler. 
There are my best photos like promised. LOL… It took awhile to sort through those that I took. The lag on my camera makes taking quick action like fireworks hard. You have to push the shutter almost right when the firework is launched to get a shot of it open. There was so much smoke in the sky too, it was really distorting in my pictures.
Here look where we started from. That is my Kyra, July 21, 2005, so less than 2 weeks old. This is the photo that I used on my baby announcements that were sent out, but the feet weren’t on the photo. I still love it.
This is her at 4 months old. I started blogging here when she was 6 months old so the pictures of her at this age aren’t published much. You can sort of watch her growth with the archives after that. Doesn’t she look peaceful here though. I love this one too.
Here is her in January 2006. She was pretty big for her age then. She had mastered rolling both directions sometime close to this time. She had one direction pretty early, but getting that other direction was hard for her.
Finally there is her birthday party last year. She tore into that cake. It was so fun.
I have no idea what a coke furnace is, but it was used during the early 1800’s. Stan and I agree that this was a neat thing, he said he hasn’t seen anything like it ever.
Here to show you a better size comparison. Stan is 5 foot 8. That ceiling has to be 12 feet. The whole thing has to be greater than 50 feet.
We found it interesting that there was one of these like escape hatches on each side. I not sure if that is the official name of course.
Another cool thing about this giant fire pit. They had a very nice playground in front of it. I got Kyra tired….for the ride home.
We had a very peaceful ride home. She was hugging her tiger the whole way. She woke up about 2 miles from the door.
We fed the goats, went and visited Robin a bit, cooked dinner, watched some TV, and took bathes so we are ready for tomorrow. I don’t think our bathtub has ever been this full before…I think she could actually swim in it. LOL…
Woo Hoo! Nia has been a little down lately. She e-mailed me a sort of sorry story this morning. I looked and looked for a cheer me up in her own town. I didn’t find one…but I got a lot of rude responses. I suggest Nia move to a nicer town. LOL…
Anyways, I couldn’t find the help I wanted to find, so I started searching for where Nia is at. She had given me her address once, so I could mail her something. I got looking and it was like 2 hours away. I was okay with that, not that far away. I went up asked Stan, you want to take a long ride. That was all it took and we were off.
I know Nia doesn’t go to many places, so I knew she would be home. Plus, by the message, I could tell. The surprise aspect didn’t really bother me too much.
We went to Subway at and went to a park. It was lovely. We had to get home again for dinner time, so we only were there like an hour. It was such a pleasure to meet her though. I am honored.
The bird made my day. We were driving along…I had my camera as usual. I quick said stop there was a huge bird back there. Amazingly, Adam stopped without a single word questioning me. Woo Hoo a for once.
