Your boss who has done everything in the book to tick every one off at one time or another in a office of 7 people presents you with with a Birthday card…..as you open it it is a used card that was presented to her on her last birthday. Her name is crossed out and replaced by your name…….What do you do or say?

I don’t say anything, but her next birthday.  I’ll just cross off my name and replace it with hers.  It would become a fun tradition.  I really wouldn’t care, save me some money.

You have no issues with being White, Mexican, Polish or black or yellow. Your boss who is black and dealing with 7 co workers at times, that are white….you notice that they say to another worker ” You apple pie people. You remain silent and the person that it is said to laughs it off. The holidays rolls around and the boss says I am going to bring some culture to you all….and servers you a dinner of fried chicken and collard greens. Do you feel that this is racism, and if so what do you do?

Yeah, it probably is racism.  Fried chicken and collard greens are good though, so who cares.  There is no way to cure people who are racist, but just to ignore them.

The bank in your neighbor hood has been robbed. They caught the guy running out of the park by your house. No money was found on him. They searched the area for days and no loot was found. You are out walking your dog….he wonders off the path and you go after him…..He starts digging in the woods and unearths the loot from the bank robbery……no one is around…..what do you do?

I guess I thank goodness for FDIC first.  I wonder why did I go after this guy?  Am I asking for trouble or what?  I hope I have more sense than follow criminals into wooded areas.  DUH!  Me…  I would probably go back to my house and call the cops, but really I don’t know if I would or not.

Blog Perfume

This is great of the Los Angeles transit authority, they run all the busses for free after 6 pm on New Year’s Eve until the early hours of New Year’s day.  They are also raising the number of busses.  I think I encourage everyone out there to use this service to show appreciation for the great job done by those drivers and the fact that they are working through the New Year.

Yesterday was basically terrible.  I absolutely hate filling out applications, I hate the way I perceive people to be looking at me even if they aren’t.  It is embarrassing to me.  I filled out 9 applications though.  That was before noon too. 

I am filling out the civil service applications now, which hopefully will lead to a job with the state.  Who knows… 

I really don’t like job hunting though, it is depressing.

I went and got Kyra at 1 to cheer myself up and so Adam could have some time to himself.  His dad and brother moved out of his place yesterday too, so he was there alone.

I bought a new TV in Walmart, so now I have a TV upstairs.  It was on sale and fits in my TV stand perfectly.

We played toys a few hours. The Lego’s that Kyra got last Christmas are just now finally getting some good use.

Stephen came we cooked breakfast stuff for super and watched a movie.  Hope you had a good day.

I have no idea how this happened and can’t find any more details than this!  Apparently the bus door slammed on him though while getting out of the bus and crushed him.  There was nobody else around though??  

I am assuming that this was an automatic door like in our newer busses because the door on my bus doesn’t close without a good firm push from me and even than it is pretty woosey.

This is very tragic though, that could potentially happen to a student too, which is scary to me as well.

My goal for today was to put 15 job applications out there into the world.  Well, I got 6 done.  I am going out to dinner and then watching a movie.  I got signed up for my unemployment this week, so yeah that is good.  I need all I can get.  I go back driving on Tuesday.  It is funny because I sort of miss my kids.

I am going to try to get 15 applications filled out tomorrow.  I should do better because I will start earlier and I went to one place today that took 2 hours.

Anyways, that is pretty much what is going on with me.  I haven’t been online that much I am trying to get my offline life figured out.

Here she is opening a gift.  You will notice she is in different clothing in all of these photos.  When she opened a clothing package we had to try that piece on, so I think she wore 6 or 7 outfits all in the matter of an hour.

She got a fake electric guitar.  I broke the strap within a few seconds of opening it, but it seems cool.  I actually don’t mind loud toys, isn’t that an amazing fact??  LOL…

I got her dressed in her nice new Christmas day outfit and what does she do??  Yeah, she goes into the dog cage and sits for awhile. 

I left my camera at Stephen’s house, so he was taking photos of his dog with it.  This is one of those photos.
