Down Right Gross…

Shit running out the bottom of pants I don’t think that this photo need any explanation, but you should know that it isn’t chocolate coming out the bottom of her pants.

Shitty Leg This is what it looks like without the pants and with the big chunks rinsed off.  This photo could haunt her when she is older, I think.  I do have the rest of her body.  She has this brown stuff all the way up to her nose.

Girl and her Dog So, she cleans up very well and she is forgiven.  I swear for anyone else though, I could not have stomached that.

We played and read for the rest of the day.

She likes pretending she is a dog now.  We got one of those outside stakes for in the ground with 50 foot cable to tie the dog outside.  Today, Kyra insisted on being tied to it.  So, Kyra did laps on the cable while the dog run around loose following her.  She did that for about 40 minutes.  It is crazy.

We went to Walmart got some things. (BANANAS, blah…) It finally rained, which made me and Kyra do a dance.  It is so dry.  The yard is going to shrivel up and blow away any minute now.

It was a pretty good day if only I can get the above images out of my head.  A few hours sleep should do that though.  Have a great night…

Explore - Heads or Tails Tuesday - October 9

headtail I am sad that I missed last weeks project.  I would have written about stacking wood, I think.  Last week the theme was the word Stack.  I just got so busy that I didn’t get a chance to do it.  I think I slept instead.

Anyways…on with this week.  Skittles has the topic of Explore…which I love.  She has it in honor of her Birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY and just be glad you have a holiday at all. What is there around April 25th???  Besides the fact it always rains???  Yes, in 30 years of my life.  I can remember 2 birthday’s without rain.

Explore

I am an explorer at heart.  Do you think there is any unclaimed pieces of land left??  I should go hunting huh??  I sometimes really miss driving cross country though, that was exploring in it’s own way.  You get to go to towns unknown to you and eat at places you never even seen before.  It is like each day a new adventure.

If I were to drive again like that though, I would go by myself.  Yeah, I would go solo.  Each day taking an hour or so to visit around whatever town I happen to land it.  I think when it was me and Adam we always rushed too much.  Yes, our jobs were to rush.

We only once in awhile took the time to go the other road through a town or stop to see some crazy tourist trap.  I love tourist traps by the way.

Except through Ohio…. Yes, I think I have traveled all the back roads in Ohio.  The interstate speed limit is 55 for trucks and they are walled with cops, so that is no incentive to stay on the interstates, I think I went through all the small towns.  We would look at the map, and figure the actual straightest line to where we were going on the small roads.

I hated Ohio while we were driving, but now looking back on driving.  Ohio is what I miss the most.  It was the slow days going in unfamiliar areas and all the dirty looks of the people walking the streets.

You know some people don’t really appreciate all that driver’s do for them.  Some show this by being very rude.  I don’t think the driver’s mind this though for the most part except when they see that “No Truck Parking sign”.  There needs to be less of those…

Anyways, back to Exploring…I should do some here again.  I think I am going to take the back roads into the Baltimore Aquarium which is a place I really need to go visit.

What is the BEST age??

I am in a unique situation, I think. Not sure… I have a 2 year old, a 30 year old, and a 71 year old all living in our house. We are each in completely different stages of our lives, yet we co-exist. LOL…

I think 2 years old is the best age because you don’t have any worry. You can ask for everything with whatever “ME” and everyone just does it. Like feed me, walk me, sit me, pull me, carry me, pick me, help me, water me, pappa me, kiss me, etc, etc, …..this list can go on forever and ever.

You can dance anywhere and nobody thinks it is strange. You can even dance to the elevator music that they play at the mall in attempts to keep you out of the center aisle and in stores.

You can also be completely quiet when talked to and nobody things any differently of you. Hiding behind things is completely appropriate.

I also think being 30 years old is the best though. I am loving this age. I think everyone finally agrees that I am adult enough to take care of myself. I have yet to figure out why some think that 20 year old’s are incapable of this.

I have grown to not be embarrassed so easily. I am okay with Kyra dancing in the mall for example. I think had she been born earlier in my life that I would be more stressed with her. I find now to be the perfect time to have her as a 2 year old.

It is perfect that I am past the high school days too. I sort of dreaded them each morning.

I think being 71 is a good age too. There are so many unfortunate that do not make it to that age, that you should be ever so thankful if you are there. You have learned to never be embarrassed at this age. You have learned to joke about age and about yourself, life isn’t as serious business as it once was.

You know you are smarter than most of the people around you, but because you went through all those hard knocks at about the same time as you witness those around you going through them. You have learned to shut up about it though.

You get price discounts at a whole load of places just for being you.

So there you have it the reasons cliff notes version of why every age in my house is the very best age. I am writing this for the October MamaBlogger Writing Group Project. Go check out all the other entries and decide for yourself what is the very best age???
