My camera card reader for my computer is broke. I don’t exactly know what happened to make it broke, but I can push my card in all the way where as before it would go about 1/2 way and then end and read it.
So, no pictures even though I have them. I spent most of today getting ready for this party though, who knows why exactly I am the one who is always helping out though. I am and have been for years. It is fun I guess in this sort of strange way. There is a ton of work that goes on before a party though.
I worked on that from like noon to 4 or so.
The party started at 5, but mostly people didn’t come until 7. The karaoke guy is out there and some of them can really sing. I am not one of them though. I squeek and get nervous, maybe if I had a few drinks.
Do you think I would drink a few drinks though?? Not a chance…I had one strong Jell-o shooter, that is all. I can still feel it eating away on there on the lining of my stomach and it has been a good hour. I had food prior even. I am the biggest alcohol woosey on earth. It is probably a good thing though.
I am taking a break now from it. Kyra is going to bed. I will go back out though and listen to the singing until it is done. I’ll post pictures when I get a new reader…probably tomorrow. Have a great night.

I am not a total tree hugger, but I think that the
BP Solar Decathlon is a wonderful way for them to be spending my almost $3.00 per gallon.
I have been watching the Penn State team in this, just because they are so close to me.
I think my house could be turned all solar as well if it were cheaper, I wouldn’t hesitate. My house gets a whole lot of sun even on not so sunny days. There is an Amish store, sort of store, down the road that sells solar panels. A lot of the Amish in the area are using these for power. The Amish don’t want to be connected to the grid and rely on other people for any of there stuff basically. They want independence as a whole from society.
Anyways, this BP project is a wonderful one and I think all the teams are doing a stellar job. I know that the participants of each team will be winners simply by being involved in such a project. It will raise that individuals awareness that much more.

The mom’s ex boyfriend left it where the child could get it. So that is good, they know where it came from and that person is being held responsible.
It all ended well which was also good. The other students reacted calmly just telling the driver and she dealt with it. Calling the police to come disarm the boy and not body was hurt.
Guns and kids scare me. Well, guns and adults that aren’t on a hunting expedition or target practicing they scare me too.
I like the idea of guns for protection though and I like knowledge being spread on how to properly use them, so I am not anti-gun by a long shot. I am actually a pretty good shot…surprise. I sort of like shooting clay pigeons as well.
Here is the PDF.
