Kyra is 3 3 3!!!

I can’t believe she is 3 already.  I never believe people when they say time goes fast, but when you have a kid it is like time multiplies in speed.  I am not sure if that is a good thing or not.  LOL…

Anyways, Kyra is 3.

We went to a tuperware party at Stephanie’s house and we left early and went to Red Robin for lunch with Tarin, Kevin, and Tom.  It was good food.  I like Red Robin anyways.  Tom got Kyra this magnetic face book, which she really seems to like.  I wonder how long the pieces hang around.

We went miniature golfing afterward, but it was too hot.  I really should know when to say no.  I can’t handle the heat at all.  I got sick, so I came home and essentially went to bed.  I couldn’t sleep though, so it wasn’t like going to sleep.

I think my problem with heat is that I don’t sweat.  Yeah, Stephen, Tarin, and Kevin all had like wet shirts from sweating so much and I almost didn’t have a drip of sweat on me.  It was 92 degrees out and I should have been sweaty, but I wasn’t.  I never have been a big sweater, but less sweat is one of the side effects of the medicine I take for my bladder.  I think I am going to talk to that stupid doctor about it.

I not sure how but I got feeling better, got back up and went for a walk and got my car. It was at Stephen’s.   Kyra stayed up until like 11:30 which isn’t a bad thing because that means she would sleep in and she did.  We slept until almost 9.

Anyways, Kyra is now a big 3.

Remind Me Not To Take Stephen To Fireworks Next Year

I like horse pulls.  I totally enjoy a good fireworks show.  Well, they have a horse pull followed by fireworks in our local town here every year the Friday after the 4th.  It is the best fireworks show I have ever seen and each year it is equally good.  Well, I took Stephen.  I didn’t know that he totally doesn’t like fireworks and really isn’t interested in horses.

He was grumpy the whole time.

Kyra is scared of the loudness, but she did really well.  She didn’t cry.  I held her for about 10 minutes and then she wanted to watch them from in the truck, so she was in the truck doing fine.  We were in the bed of the truck, so every few minutes.  I would stick my head in the window to see how she was.

The whole evening kind of sucked though.  Next year, Stephen can stay home.  LOL…

Happy 4th

We do all the things that normal people do!  However, I went camping in a tent for the first time.  Yes, I had been camping in my life.  My parents had a “pop-up” camper when I was a kid and I have slept many a night in that.  I went to summer camp with the 4-H and slept in large canvas permanent structure like tents, but this was my very first time sleeping in a little zippy tent.  We had an air mattress, so we may have yet been cheating.

Anyways, we went to Curwensville Lake Recreational Area and met Jason, Missy and Haley for the night.  It was great.  Both our girls are so cute, but so very different.  Haley is a little ball of energy, can’t stop.  Kyra like sitting in your lap and relaxing a bit.  She is so much more calm and easy going.  It is amazing the differences.

She was with her dad than over 4th of July.  I got her back late at night.  We went out to dinner and stuff on Thursday night the 3rd.  We went fishing in the rain the morning of the 4th.  I caught about 8 bluegill and 1 perch fish.  We put them back of course.  Stephen caught a couple little bass and some bluegill too.  Steve caught about 9 little bass.  We were using different baits.  I used worms.

We went and saw fireworks after that and then went to the club with a bunch of friends.  It was fun.

I got Kyra after that in the evening.  She came and Saturday we went to a party.  She rode her trike around and we had it so she could watch TV upstairs in peace if she wanted.  She is all about other people though.  She was held by a girl named Lea a lot that day.

Sunday we went bowling and out to lunch.

See, I am doing things everyday.  That is why my site here is getting less action.  I don’t sit at home all that much anymore.  My life used to be overtly boring and it is much less so now even though I have much less money.

Everything is going good at work, I think I had a record day here last week.  I sold 9 policies in one day.  I didn’t get to eat that day, too busy.  LOL…  There is always work though in my office.  I am way behind on filing.

Anyways, that is what is going on.  I have photos, but still in camera.

Back to Work…

20080611_01706p Well after having yesterday off, going back to work was sort of a welcome thing for today.  I do like my little office.  Well, I got there like a tornado hit.  No there wasn’t paper every where, but work everywhere.  I had 80 or so e-mails which I get usually about 15 or so in a whole day.

I got things all put back together about noon or so.

I had leftover Caledonia Bistro food, from yesterday.  That place is so good.  It is such a treat even to have left overs.

I got Kyra back at 5.  We came home and she woke up which sure is welcome.  We walked to Stephen’s while she told me about her trip to Lake Tobias today with her dad.  We got her tricycle back, she fell asleep last time we were there, so I carried her back and left her bike there.  She played for a while.

EmmaKyra We got our stuff ready for our weekend trip we are planning.  We are sleeping in the tent tomorrow night, so we are ready now.

Here is my small photo catch up.

The top one is a picture of Kyra about a week ago, when we had a picnic outside.  The next one is her at the fire station with here babysitter.  This is the other little girl that is with her (Emma), aren’t they cute.

20080610_01209p Here is the before Stephen’s hair cut.  It was like midnight and he had a hair appointment before I got home from work, so I got him up to take his picture.

20080613_02109p Here is the picture of him falling asleep, but with short hair. I need some better photos of him.  I am always taking them of Kyra.  I ignore him with my camera.  LOL…

Anyways, that is that.  Have a great weekend.

Wisdom Teeth Getting Better…

My face is better, so that is good news.  I had an eye appointment the week before I had my teeth out and got new prescription and put my contacts in backwards, so thought my teeth were causing a headache for the month, but it was really my contacts.  Wow!  Do I feel better now.

My Kyra is doing so good.  I don’t think she could be doing better.  She makes everyone she sees smile.  She says so many funny things that it is like every other thing out of her mouth makes you smile.

She is riding her tricycle now that is her newest thing.  She likes playing teeball and soccer in the yard too.  She always wants to be outside.

My job is going good.  I like my job, so that helps.  I am busy as heck with the other agents work, which I really want to be busy with my own work.  I have been putting flyers up that have my information on them.  I got my business cards today, but am pretty disappointed with them.  They have the other office numbers on them besides mine which I don’t like.  I probably won’t give out many of them.  I am having him order new ones.

I have off tomorrow to go to the doctors.

I have hundreds of photos since I have posted previously.  I still have a full card on my camera as well.  I’ll put some of those up here soon too.  Stephen got all his hair cut off, so I have the before and after of that as well.

Wisdom Teeth Out…

Well, that is the most painful experience ever.  They gassed me last week, took all 4 of my teeth out.  The top two were partially impacted and had cysts forming around the tooth root.  The bottom ones one was just a tooth extraction as it came out fine.  The other one was totally impacted.

I never in a million years thought it would be that painful.  It was done on Tuesday, I think Thursday was the worst day ever.  I went to work…I went to work Wednesday too.  I went to work though and was taking the Motrin every 8 hours like they told me.  I was taking Vicadon every 4 hours.  I sold 2 insurance policies that day though amazingly.  I wonder now how good of service I really gave.  LOL…  Was it legal for me to sign those policies??

It like burst that night and instantly felt less painful.  That was when the fever set in.  I had a fever from Thursday night to Monday.  I think I slept most of the day Saturday, I know I hit Stephen’s bed and didn’t get out for at least 5 hours.  Kyra was in and out though from laying with me. Stephen was too.

Now, I can finally eat and my face isn’t swollen anymore.  I feel great and am sure glad I won’t be getting more wisdom teeth.  AAAAAaaaaaahhhhh!  Those are terrible things.

Fishing…

We went fishing on the boat yesterday. Kyra was with her dad.  It was so fun.  It is so peaceful to be out sitting on a lake on a boat reading while they fished.  I got sunburnt on my foot, but it was worth it.  I could have jumped in accidentally, but the water was to cold and I think I would have given Robin a heart attack.  She is a bit nervous with the boat movement, so I tried to be still.  I did pretty good.

It was Steve’s birthday, so we fixed steaks for dinner after we went and got Kyra.  The whole day was pretty fun. Kyra ate a really big piece of birthday cake.  She thinks it is somebody’s birthday every day.  She sometimes wakes up saying “Happy Birthday” and then I tell her whose birthday is that day or that it isn’t anyone that we knows birthday and that her birthday is in July.

Bonfire….

We lit it up.  There were about 20 people that showed up out of the bunch invited.  We rode 4-wheeler, played pool, threw horseshoes and just talked until late night.  Kyra went to bed her normal time and slept watching Dumbo on Stephen’s bed.  I drank a little too much, but had a fun time.

Aquarium…

The aquarium was fun.  It wasn’t worth no $30 per person though or I am really cheap.  The dolphin show was cool. I wished they had used more dolphins though even if those dolphins skills weren’t perfected.  They had like 9 dolphins but only 2 were in the show.  It was to much space between jumps and it seemed like we were waiting for a long time while the dolphin splashed the other side of the room or whatever.  They didn’t do anything together the dolphins and part of the fun of watching dolphins is watching them interact with each other.

The rest of the aquarium was cool.  The sharks really looked evil.  There were lots of little frogs and tiny displays.  I liked the new Australia display the best probably.  The birds and other animals added to the water displays in this section.

It was a fun day.

We went to one of our friends in York afterward and ate wings while Kyra and there son played.  That was pretty fun too.  They have this giant stuffed dog that the kids were dragging around.  It was funny.

I am STILL Alive!

Let me tell you what has been going on.  My life is crazy, but fun and exciting all at the same time.  I finally passed my insurance test, yeah my 3rd try.  I suck.  I passed it though and so am now officially an agent in PA.  I have my Life, Property, and Casualty licenses now.  Work is going well, I am sort of getting used to being there now.

???????? ????? ????????Everything is going great with Stephen and I.  We have been heading off to a lot of stuff that with his friends from when he was in college.  They are all growing up now.  It is a sort of strange prospective to see them from where I am in life.  Even where Stephen is I sometimes think he feels a bit awkward.  We spend a lot of time together which is nice.

Kyra is doing great.  Her rabbit got loose though, so we can’t find that.  It is terrible.  It is still hard to give her up to her babysitter and her dad.  I really look forward to my weekends with her.  When she is with her dad or the baby sitter it is like I get her back for her grumpiest part of the day.  She comes home takes a bath and goes to bed and that is almost it.

??????Our deuce is doing good.  He may start going to work with me which will be cool.  There is like a dog fence from the people that live in front of the office and I am getting permission for him to be in that to go to the bathroom and stuff while I am at work.  That would make it so I don’t have to rush home to get him out though, he would be with.  He is really good with people, even though he would be locked behind a gate at first.  He will probably be loved very quickly by customers.

Anyways, I am still around.

Oh, guess what….I am finally going to go to the aquarium tomorrow.  That has been a goal since forever, well… tomorrow is the day.  I have tickets bought can’t turn back now.  That is what my tax refund is going to be spent on.  It will be so fun.

Have a great time until I jibber jabber again.
