Kyra and I went to Ollies this morning with the goal of getting more books. I am bored out of my gourd with the 10 or so that we have. Well, we found the books section, it was like heaven.
We left with quite a new reading selection and a mom that will be less bored with books. So she has like 25 or so books now. The highlight to me though is this chick book. It is going to be the fun one. It is about 2 inches thick, so no little book. It is packed full of farm animals and Kyra can make most of the sounds. We got the Animal book that you see at the top too. It will be fun, but it has mostly wild animals, so it is more educational for when she is a bit older.
How come I am all excited about a few books? LOL…
We went shoe shopping after. Yeah, I took the camera….this is in Super Shoes. Kyra wouldn’t stay still for me to get a good shot of her with that huge shoe on. I think she tried like 20 different shoes on, but they were none her size. I did look for her a pair of sandals for summer, but didn’t get any. There was one pair that I liked, but it was $39… which is steep to me. Especially since she won’t even wear it two seasons.
I did buy 2 pair of shoes for me though. One scandal and one sneaker both were in the clearance room, so a pretty good deal. Adam will hate it. He thinks I have to many shoes, but I only probably have 10-15 pair total….so maybe if some of you all that have hundreds chime into my comments. I can let him know that I am not over indulging in shoes. LOL…
