Today was a pretty interesting day for me even though sort of boring. The school has this thing called the Act 80 day. It is twice a year and on this day the teachers stay at school and work while the kids go home 2 hours early. What this means for me is an extremely strange day, but I am done driving by 2.
Well, my computer has been making this louder noise lately when I go to run her, so I was getting concerned. I don’t want to loose my computer. I decided to take her into the computer shop for a tune-up. So that is what I did. I left at 2 leaving Adam and Kyra home alone. I came back at a little after 7.
Yeah, I was away from Kyra for 5 whole hours. Amazing huh…
Anyways, I got this light up keyboard while I was at the shop. You all know how I like my computer gadgets. This should keep me entertained for quite some time though. I need to be buying things other than computer stuff though, LOL…
Anyways, that was my day. I spent it talking with the guys and Ruth at the computer shop while updating my computer. Oh, I went to dinner by myself in that time too.
Kyra was happy to see me when I got back too which was nice. I mostly never leave her to get to see this happy reunion feeling, she gets to have all the time with her dad as the recipient. Also, I came back to 93 e-mails and 2 phone messages. I don’t think I get that many on a normal day that I am sitting at my computer working, so maybe I should go away more often as I do feel missed here. Goodness.
Now tonight I am finishing up some of my project for my clients and going to be going to bed here soon. Tomorrow is another Saturday, so Kyra day. We are going to a rock auction though, so it won’t be a standard Saturday. Night…
