I didn’t know this was a service offered anywhere. If a kid is sick on my bus, I give them a plastic bag for if they have to vomit and off we go. If we are going to school, than they go to school and to the nurse as soon as they get there. If we are going home than they go to the bus stop, just like any other day.
This driver though took a kid home unexpectedly and left her with just any lady apparently. The driver is claiming that the student knew the lady…but wow. I think as a parent in this one. I would have been furious too and as a bus driver. I can’t see anything even remotely close to this happening with my students/routes.
