Today was a great day. We went to the Earth Day Celebration at the Renfrew Center. (Yesterday I spelled wrong, today’s spelling is correct.) It was a fun time. There was all sort of displays. We sold twice as much as we did last year maybe because everyone was looking at the doll baby named Kyra sleeping under the table for 3 hours. The whole even was only 5 hours and Kyra was sleep for 3 of them. See the photo, that is her under the table.

That place is just beautiful though. They maintain it perfectly. You can take tours of the old estate building during normal working days. There is an old barn turned into a gift shop. They said there is over 10 miles of trails and a large park with a playground for the kiddo’s. It was a really nice day.

The other club member Mike had his flourescent rock display in the building they call the smoke house. It is a stone building without any windows where he can use the black light to light the rocks. Here is a photo of those rocks, you can’t tell they are rocks based on the photo, but they are. The green just picked up the strongest with my camera. His display is pretty interesting to look at about how some rocks can look so different under different types of light.

Adam had to work all day. He worked today so he could have my birthday off which is Tuesday. I am hoping the sub driver will ride my kindergarten run tomorrow, so maybe I will take the middle run off on my birthday and go to lunch with Adam. I am doing a field trip on Wednesday which will make up the money portion. It isn’t like a huge trip, only a trip for the elementary kids to the high school, so I don’t even get to leave town, but I am looking forward to it as it is my first one.

I missed out on the MS Walk today. I am not sure how well I would have done anyways although I was pretty proud that I made it through the 5K last year while I was almost 6 month pregnant. It was healthy for me and would have been this year too had I done it. Maybe I will just try to walk the 5K tomorrow instead.

Well, I am off to bed. Night…
