I didn’t take any pictures today, so I posted one I took like a week ago of my pet pig “Barbeque”. She is like 9 years old here than.
Today has been a crazy day though. I have the worst headache ever and I have a temperature of 100.3. I even took Advil and that is an amazing task for me. I usually would rather suffer, not that I think it helped or anything.
I think I slept to much yesterday, thus causing my headache now.
So you ask why am I blogging?? Very good question. I am a new addict. This is sort of fun.
We had friends over to watch the Ohio State vs. Notre Dame game on TV tonight. It still isn’t over, but our friends are gone they had to have there children in bed. I hope Ohio State wins and they are as of now. I love having friends over, but I think I shock these ones because of my laid back nature. Not a lot of stuff bothers me and I think that bothers them. I think my nursing the baby makes me even more laid back than I normally would be as well. I like the way it feels to nurse her as strange as that sounds though. It feels pretty good.
People are always asking me when I am going to stop, she is only 5 1/2 months old. It is recommended to nurse at least a year. Heck, I made it this far. I will make it at least that far. Now, I don’t have mastitus or yeast infections like I did when she was first born. That was when I could have easily quit, but I kept thinking about the cost of formula in our already tight budget. Plus, my milk is healthier. Cheap and healthy how can you go wrong with that, if all decisions were so easy.
Kyra is rolling all the time now, she learned to go the rest of the way over on the 22nd of December. That is the day she had her first tooth break through her gum as well, I guess she was in pain and mad, so made extra effort to get over from her belly. Now though she is unstoppable, she just goes goes goes. I think she is learning how to force herself to stay awake as well, so getting her to sleep is a bit more challenging than it once was.
She is so well behaved though it is amazing. She has a new trick she learned like in the last few days. That is to put her hands up when she wants you to pick her up. I don’t know when exactly she learned this, but she has mastered it in the last few days. It is really nice for me to truly know when she wants lifted versus when she is just wanting the toys put back on her table thing. She really has me trained.
